THREE KINDS OF CLASS EXPERIENCE: Your student will receive an Instrument Class as well as Feature Classes and at least one Ensemble daily.
INSTRUMENT CLASSES
We have a place for every student, from first-time beginners to advanced. Students select one instrument track (Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, or Piano) and are placed in classes with others close to their age and playing level. This is where specific instruction takes place daily and progress is exciting to see. Classes are small, with personalized attention from expert, caring teachers.
FEATURE CLASSES & ENSEMBLES
Your students will participate daily in Feature Classes that enhance their musicianship, skills, and creativity, including:
Music & Movement, Voice, and Orff for beginners ages 4 to 8.
Fiddle, Handbells, and Drum Line for intermediate players.
Chamber Music, Orchestra, and Improvisation for advanced musicians.
These classes are pre-selected for each student appropriate to age and playing level to maximize your student’s camp experience!
NOTE to PARENTS: Violin students ages 4–6 in Levels 1A–1B (Prelude 1 & 2) must have a parent in class with them daily from 9:00–9:55.
NOTE: At camp check-in on Monday morning of String Camp, each student will be given a personalized daily schedule. Class assignments are made based on Registration information. If necessary, adjustments may be made after day one.
